Casino du Liban sits at Maameltein above Jounieh bay, 22 kilometres north of Beirut, and has been Lebanon's principal entertainment complex since it opened in 1959. Alongside the gaming floors it holds a showroom, a nightclub, a theatre and five restaurants.

Its place in an adult guide rests on the showroom rather than the tables. The Casino's cabaret built a reputation through the 1960s and 1970s as a Vegas-scale revue — contemporary accounts described it as rivalling anything Las Vegas could offer — and it has continued to stage adult cabaret since reopening in 1996 after a $50 million reconstruction. In 2011 it hosted Crazy Horse Paris's Forever Crazy, the tour's only Middle East date.
