Low Sensory Leather Social

NM-REAL's Low Sensory Leather Social is an early, low-volume evening for Albuquerque's leather, BDSM and kink communities, held from 7 pm to 9 pm on the first Saturday of the month in the Cabaret Room at Sidewinders — the ABQ Eagle — at 4200 Central Ave SE.

The idea is a back-to-basics social without the late hours and the loud room: conversation first, open to all sexualities, gender expressions and kink interests, in any attire from vanilla to gear (within what the bar allows). The organisers describe a free raffle, kink and leather history and trivia videos on the screens, optional name tags, a board where guests can pin up other community events, and the occasional short talk. There are sober-friendly drinks, including kinky mocktails, and Onyx High Desert's Gear Night follows in the same room afterwards.

The bar charges no cover and is 21+. The organiser had published four dates when this page was written — 7 November and 5 December 2026, and 2 January and 6 February 2027 — and asks guests to RSVP on its site.
