How we research and publish

Directories rot. Venues close, hours change, parties move, prices drift, and most adult directories never look again β€” which is why so much of what you find elsewhere is years out of date. This page is what we do differently, in enough detail that you can hold us to it.

One rule above the others

We would rather show you nothing than something false.

Every factual claim on this site has to be traceable to a source we actually read. If we cannot verify something, the field stays empty and we say what is missing. An empty field costs a reader nothing; a wrong address, a dead phone number or an invented price is a promise the site cannot keep.

Where facts come from

Prices

Every price on this site is an indication, not a quote. It is what was advertised when the page was written, with that date recorded. Door prices differ from advance prices, organisers change tiers, and currencies move. Confirm at the point of purchase, always.

Dates

Event dates are verified as upcoming, and the weekday is checked against the date, before an event is published. Past editions may stay online as history and are marked as past. A cancelled event keeps its page with a cancellation notice rather than disappearing β€” people search for events that were called off, and a 404 tells them nothing.

Images

Organiser or venue press material first, then their own site. Never a search engine's image results, never another directory's copy. Every image is tested the way our server fetches it before publication, because an image that silently fails to load leaves a listing looking abandoned.

What earns a listing

Two different tests, deliberately.

A venue is listed if it provides dedicated space for sex or fetish as part of what it offers β€” a darkroom, a play area, cabins, a fetish floor β€” or if that is the whole point of the place. A venue that merely hosts someone else's fetish night a few times a year does not qualify; we cover those nights as events under the organiser instead. A naturist resort is not an erotic venue, and conflating the two is exactly the error the naturist world rightly objects to.

An event is listed if it is erotic in audience, dress code or intent β€” whether or not sex happens on the premises.

A listing is not an endorsement. It means the place exists, is erotic in nature, and its details were checked on a stated date.

Independence and advertising

How the work is produced

Research and drafting here are assisted by AI tooling, and every published page is read and approved by a human before it goes live. We think that is worth stating plainly: the tooling is what makes it possible to keep thousands of listings current, and the human gate is what stops it publishing confident nonsense. Automated checks refuse a draft that states a price as fact, carries a weekday contradicting its date, publishes a past date as upcoming, uses an image with no recorded source, or records no sources at all.

Corrections

We will get things wrong. Venues change without telling anyone, and we cover thousands of them.

Reviews

Reviews are written by visitors, not by us.

Who writes this

Articles and listings are published under the name of the site, not an individual byline β€” the reasoning is on About. Where a fact needs attribution it is attributed to its source, per the sourcing rules above; where a judgement is made, the standard it was made against is stated. Neither depends on knowing who typed it.
