We booked a party at that club through a well-known platform. It was very expensive and offered absolutely no value for money. It was completely overcrowded, and consequently, we couldn't even get to the buffet. Not to mention the other issues. Being fair, we left a review on the platform (not the worst rating). Instead of using our criticism as an opportunity for improvement, we were banned. We simply cannot recommend this club. Unfortunately.

Der Club selbst ist Super. Leider ist die Chefin hier das Problem. Wir waren als Paar in diesem Club. Hatten einen schönen Abend bis auf die üblichen Herren die sich nicht zu benehmen wissen in einem Club. Ebenso waren bei der Veranstaltung 450 Leute gemeldet. Das ist viel zu viel. Hier wird nur geschaut das viele rein kommen wo Eintritt bezahlen. Das Befinden der Gäste ist hier dann egal. Diese Kritik haben wir auch in der Joyclub Bewertung kundgetan. Fazit: Geblockt und Hausverbort für diesen Club. Die Chefin kann mit Kritik nicht umgehen. Schade für einen Ort der so Hohen Potenzial hat.

Okay, so now to you newbies and your fantasy stories: a no is a no, and that's how it is. Men or women who don't accept a no will be kicked out. You just have to make the person understand the no clearly. If it's not accepted at first, please contact the club owner and communicate this clearly without being disrespectful or derogatory. Choose your events clearly and what you want, because gang bangs aren't for inexperienced newbies or brutish people, or a day just to eat. If you want to have sex, go on a quiet Sunday. And swingers clubs are far better than disco bars. My wife gets harassed more often at discos than at swingers clubs. My wife has never been assaulted or anything like that at a swingers club. The police are also much more frequent at discos. In swingers clubs, there are practically no fights, and most people know each other. Sure, newbies need some time to connect, but once you do, you'll have a lot of fun and respect. So, to all of you who are badmouthing swingers clubs here: you've either never actually been to one and just need to vent, or you had a bad experience once but didn't react properly. I know many club owners, and if someone messes up in a club, they get kicked out of the club faster than in any regular disco. Experienced swingers and guests are also very careful to ensure things are respectful and private. So have fun and don't believe every bit of nonsense someone posts here. I can tell you that much as a former bouncer and very experienced club-goer all over Europe.

Soooo... As described, we've now been to the Golden Lion several times in the evenings, and we have to say, it's fantastic! A complete change from our first visit. Great buffet (of course, taste is subjective!), very friendly staff, and everything was clean. It's a shame there isn't a dedicated pedestrian area without a glass partition (it feels a bit like a zoo!), but otherwise, it's great. --> Our first visit for breakfast shouldn't really influence our opinion. However, we found the outdoor area untidy, and the dance floor area was (obviously!) in need of renovation. The buffet is, as always, a matter of taste. It was okay for us, though. No frills, no highlights. Just a breakfast. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Conclusion: We'll visit the club in the evenings and hope for a noticeable improvement.

What I'd heard about this club beforehand unfortunately proved true for me. Agreements made weren't honored, and entry seemed to depend heavily on the mood of the crowd. An incident involving a close friend further illustrates the apparent lack of transparency in pricing: A couple registered through Joyclub, but using the male partner's profile. Since the owner apparently deemed this profile "not effective" for the club's marketing and essentially described him as "no Adonis," the couple was expected to pay the single man's price on-site. The couple's price advertised on Joyclub was not applied in this case. This raises serious questions about equal treatment and the transparency of the pricing structure. I myself was explicitly invited and placed on the guest list beforehand – with the clear assurance that entry would be free. However, I was then charged €80 on-site, even though it was only for a brief conversation with the organizer regarding another event. I consider this unreasonable for a mere ten minutes of attendance. Conversations with others in the scene also suggest that such experiences are not isolated incidents. Overall, in my view, there is a lack of transparency, reliability, and respectful communication. Especially in this sensitive area, fairness, clear agreements, and non-discriminatory treatment should be a given. For me personally, this is absolutely unacceptable.
