Stargayte Sauna es la sauna gay de Leipzig ubicada en el corazón de la ciudad, abierta desde el 14 de marzo de 1997. Con una extensión de 2.500 m², ofrece sauna finlandesa (hasta 90°C), baño de vapor, sauna de infrarrojos, dos bañeras de hidromasaje, tres cines, una sala oscura, cabinas privadas y públicas, zonas de descanso, un bar con comida y bebidas, y dos áreas de fumadores. Es un espacio acogedor y amigable con la comunidad LGBTQ+ sin límites de tiempo en la entrada. Los eventos regulares incluyen OpenDay (martes y viernes, abierto a todos los géneros y orientaciones), JuniorDay (domingos, entrada con descuento para hombres menores de 30 años), SparTag (lunes) y eventos Bear Sauna cada dos meses. Hay una tarjeta de paso de reentrada disponible para visitas del mismo día.

I visited but the in reception didn’t allowed me to enter he told there’s no woman that place is fill with men but I can see a lot of ladies in there, the way he he is attend to me is in professional maybe because I am black I saw racism in he eyes.
My partner and I had a nice time! We ended up with an extra day in Leipzig and this was perfect for relaxation before our 18 hour flight home. Pricing was very reasonable. Entire place is very clean. I didn't like the steam room too much, but that is only because I am already blind as a bat and didn't have my glasses on... a little autistic overload, lol. Great place and staff!!
at first the hallways in de sauna area felt colder then I'm used to from a sauna. same with the water of the bubble bath. I got confused with the messages on the wall everywhere but after visiting the steam room and finding out there is a second floor I felt that it was great that the hallways and the bubble bath water, is not so warm. and the messages on the walls didn't distract any longer! this is a awesome lgbt+ sauna!
Good but not excellent.
Pros 👍:
-Large and well kept wellness area.
-Very large facility.
-Very clean.
-Friendly staff.
-Lots of free private rooms.
-Free 'pass' to return later in the day.
Cons 👎:
-Charges for a towel?! (I have never experienced this at *any* sauna anywhere!!).
-Charges for 'gel' (again, not standard in other places).
-Very expensive considering not even a towel is included in the price, nor gel or sandals (which are mandatory).
-Clientele a bit rude (not as good atmosphere as other German saunas).
-Two days a week are 'mixed' (women are allowed) and two days are closed, leaving only 3 days a week as a true 'sauna'.
I do not understand the negative reviews......I visited today just 30 minutes after opening time. The guy on reception was very helpful and explained the charges. The establishment is very large but was very clean and the facilities were excellent. Yes, it may be a little more expensive than other saunas, but I would argue that you get value for money..it became very busy so lots of guys to have fun with. Thank you Stargayte...see you on my next visit to Leipzig.
