Big Little Secrets is an Amsterdam party organisation that runs vetted, members-only erotic events in borrowed rooms rather than premises of its own. Its editions are named after the settings it takes over, and the names have become the calendar: Temple, Chapel, Teatro, Tower, Casbah, Opium, Circus, Peepshow, an Ibiza club night and a Pride edition, alongside weekend sleepovers that run from Friday through to Sunday.

Membership is the door. A single lady or a couple may apply; single men are not eligible, though a man is welcome as half of a couple. The application asks for a casual, full-body photograph of the applicants — the organiser is explicit that it wants recent, clear pictures rather than old, blurry ones, no sunglasses and no nudes — and says plainly that a membership is not for everyone. Applicants the organisation is enthusiastic about receive a confirmation email with a unique ticket link and code for the next event. Big Little Secrets undertakes to handle applicants' data and photographs discreetly, without sharing them or using them commercially.

The formats vary by room. The larger club editions are dancefloor nights in a dressed-up venue; the Chapel weekenders are sleepovers; and the newest concept, Big Little Private, is a deliberately small daytime edition for a few hundred guests that opens not on the dancefloor but at the table, with a three-course lunch, champagne and a show before the party proper. Dress codes are set per edition and are part of the concept rather than a formality — for Private, men in suits and women in lingerie.

Discretion is written into the events themselves. At Private, in the organiser's own words, what happens at Private stays at Private: there is no photography and no filming, not even by the organisation. Locations are announced to ticket holders, and tickets are reached through the membership route rather than sold openly.
