SatinSheetDreams runs off-premise erotic events for couples in upstate New York and Vermont, and says so in its own words: all of our events are off-premise events. It holds no venue — it books one, and keeps which one confidential until a guest has replied to an invitation.

Its published autumn calendar is two nights at a hotel in Latham, just north of Albany: a schoolroom-themed evening in September and a Halloween costume party in early November, both 8 PM to 1 AM on a Saturday. The brand also runs a Vermont series, resort casual and clothing optional, though no Vermont date is currently published.

Admission is by invitation only, for couples and unescorted women; single men are not admitted, and a man whose partner cannot come may not attend alone. Guests bring a printed invitation to the door. The house rules put "no means no" first, ban cameras and camera-phones outright, and ask that couples leave together if either wants to go. There is no tolerance for drunkenness or drugs.

Dress is normally cocktail attire — no jeans, sneakers, hoodies or sports caps, and guests are asked to stay covered until they reach the party area — though the brand notes its Latham series is far less formal than that.
