Sameplace is exactly as described on it's website. Tightly run where everyone can feel safe. We went as an international couple and were delighted to meet another travelling couple. The was no single men there during our Thursday visit and about 8 or 9 couples by midnight. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will come again when back in Amsterdam.

He went to this club on friday. Everything was well. All the couples are so kind and perfect. We have chatted around 2 hours and after that some couples went to downstairs. There were only 2 single men and They always come and follow us. They didnt touch but They love directly watch us. İt was annoying. We have met with another couple, we escaped from single men, other couple also same and we couldnt have fun what we Want :((. Please more control these single guys. We escaped the dark room They also followed again. İf that couple read this, contact with me :)

My husband and I attended the party from 3 - 8pm on the 2nd Sunday of the month. It was a good time. The bar was fairly busy and it was an older crowd. Everyone was friendly and respectful. The atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. We had a great time playing around the venue.

First of all I have thought long and hard about putting this review on as we have loved attending sameplace, but a couple of things have made me post a review. We have been coming to Amsterdam as a couple yearly here for a about 5 years, sometimes we would come twice a year and have always enjoyed coming to sameplace except for this time. We are quite experienced in this life style and when we chatted new couple weeks always said sameplace was brilliant but not anymore. I will say couples night on Sunday nights was good as there were no single men! The prices for drinks have gone through the roof, it's more expensive to drink here than in central Amsterdam. There were way to many single men allowed in, it's only a small club so really need to limit to 3 or 4 max. The barman is a real sleeze. Kept grabbing and slapping the young barmaids bum, I feel she looked uncomfortable and it really made us feel uneasy. He then would wonder down to the play room and just stand there watching! It's a real shame as we loved coming to Amsterdam mainly for sameplace. I feel this needs a big shake up. We won't be returning here, we feel the clubs closer to us are better value for money and a lot nicer to socialise in.

My wife and I visited here for the 1st time this Feb and were pleasantly surprised. There was a sign on the door saying no single men, being a Saturday night this helped put my wife at ease. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They provide you with a locker and tab which you can put an amount on or just keep open, this worked great. Upstairs comprises of 2 areas the bar and a second room for fun. Downstairs, no drinks allowed, is where all of the real fun happens. There are several beds, a swing, an aquarium - a locked room in which others can see in. A GH and a dark room. Overall we had a great night. It filled really quickly with couples of all ages from 20 upwards. We would go back if we return to Amsterdam.
