Can’t lie. Place was lit.

Wow, OK so where do I start.? So my husband and I just moved to the area and in search for some interesting entertainment, decided we would give angels a try. It ended up being a late start for the evening, but we were fully prepared to throw down some tips and buy some drinks, even though it was already 2:30 AM. When we got there and walked in the place was pretty much empty, which I can’t say we were really surprised since we knew it closed at 3 AM. , but the fact that as we approach the bar, the front desk lady chased us down to insist that we go back to the front and pay $15 each covercharge just threw us off a bit. I’m not much one for flashing cash, but I quickly and quietly explain to her that we had just stopped at an ATM and withdrew $400 that we fully intended to spend in the next 30 minutes at their establishment. She, however, was unmoved and seemed more satisfied with watching us leave than getting her coworkers and bartenders a little last-minute come up. Now don’t get me wrong. Had it been anytime earlier than say 2 AM? We would’ve been more than happy to pay the cover charge. We totally understand how that works but the fact that it was 30 minutes till closing and as I said, we communicated that we were going to make it worth staying open the last 30 minutes I feel like I completely understand the attitude some people have of just being there for the paycheck. Do we have to sacrifice good customer service just because we like to watch boobies bounce??
