Just after we bought an annual membership they went to cash bar, no more BYOB. Still have to pay full price to get in, plus $10+ per drink. BS!!!! Plus, the music is just constant retro even on "Disco/80's" night. Never a good crowd unless some special event is going on which is rare. Nice rooms, clean, but expensive and boring.

I drove across Houston from the southwest side to Cypress for my first swinger-club experience in the United States. I began exploring the lifestyle while living in Germany, and I attended this event after receiving a referral through SDC. Naturally, I was interested to see how the American experience would compare with what I had experienced overseas. When I arrived, my first impression was positive. The gentleman working security greeted me respectfully, which I genuinely appreciated. He brought me inside and introduced me to the lovely Jessica, who was working as the cashier/host and checked me in. Everything was going well until I was given a warning about no fighting, causing trouble, or doing anything that could result in being arrested. I understand that establishments have rules and may give the same warning to everyone, but it caught me off guard and felt somewhat uncalled for. I had driven across the city to enjoy my first lifestyle-club experience in the U.S., not to cause problems. I was also very well dressed—some would probably say I arrived in a full suit. I’m a veteran and I currently hold a Secret security clearance, so fighting, getting arrested, or intentionally putting myself in unnecessary trouble is certainly not something I came there to do. Again, it may simply be a standard warning, but it took away from what had otherwise been a respectful and welcoming introduction. Jessica called for someone to give me a tour, but unfortunately no one came. After waiting, I decided to walk inside myself. What immediately stood out to me was the large dance floor and the number of people sitting around it. My initial impression was that the atmosphere seemed more focused on the nightclub and dancing experience than the lifestyle itself. That was noticeably different from my experiences in Germany. At the swinger clubs and hotwife events I’ve attended there, the dance floors were generally smaller, which helped prevent dancing from becoming the main focus. I also felt that the hosts in Germany put considerable effort into keeping the theme of hotwife events alive and encouraging the type of social interaction people attended those particular events for. I also found the admission price fairly expensive compared with the swinger clubs I’ve experienced in Germany, especially considering that the club did not appear particularly crowded when I walked in. From my experience, respectful single men can also play an important role in making hotwife-themed events successful when there is a good balance between couples and singles. However, I want to be completely fair to the establishment: I was only inside for approximately a minute and a half—roughly 90 seconds. That is nowhere near enough time for me to judge an entire club, its members, or what the atmosphere might have become later in the evening. For that reason, I’m not going to give the club a poor rating based solely on my first impression. I simply knew almost immediately that what I walked into wasn’t what I had expected based on my previous lifestyle experiences in Germany, so I decided to leave. My first American swinger-club experience unfortunately left me disappointed, but I’m keeping an open mind. The gentleman at security treated me respectfully, Jessica was pleasant during check-in, and I recognize that 90 seconds cannot represent everything this club has to offer. I’d be willing to return, stay longer, and give the experience another opportunity. Hopefully next time they can turn this frown into a smile. 🙂

We have visited all of the Collette’s locations and this was the most disappointing. Found out at the door that they have a full bar so no byob so after paying door price which isn’t cheep we got to spend another 200 to drink. Also didn’t have what we like to drink thanks. Music is terrible and way to loud main area to bright as well. Now we went on Friday and there were a total of maybe 8 couples and 6 single guys so very small crowd which the staff told us later was normal. We have never seen this but one single male stripped and wore only a towel all night, flashing couples and wandering around bare foot in his towel creeping everyone out. The club has great potential but it has to lose the bar, fix the music, and control the single guys.

My husband and I have been excited for tonight for a few weeks. We have received numerous emails about Disco night! Ok. So we arrived at 10:30. The place was packed. Congratulations! However, the only music played was EDM. Not 1 disco song. The dance floor was packed all night, so good on you. But if you advertise disco night we expect actual disco music.

All the lady’s go out of there way to keep every thing perfect and clean. The lady’s that work the front are sweet. I had my birthday party there it was all around fun good people
