Kings Cross
Kings Cross, centred on Darlinghurst Road in Potts Point, was Sydney's red-light district for most of the twentieth century. Lockout laws introduced in 2014 thinned the strip considerably and several landmark venues closed, but strip clubs and brothels still operate along it.
It remains the most concentrated adult strip in the city: everything listed here is within a few minutes' walk of the Kings Cross station.
