SMart Café in Vienna's sixth district is the city's first SM and fetish café and describes itself as Europe's oldest BDSM bar. It has been run since 1999 by people who practise and live BDSM and fetish themselves, and it accepts every kind of BDSM and fetish play between consenting adults. It works as an ordinary café and bar with food and drinks, and also makes BDSM rooms, furniture, equipment and toys available to its guests. Minors are not admitted.

Next door, with its own discreet street entrance, is the Pink Dungeon, an SM chamber that can be rented by the hour at any time of day or night. It is fitted with three pulleys, a cross, a cage, a bench, a bed, a gynaecological couch, a sling, a shower and a toilet. The café is open every day of the year, including Sundays and public holidays, from 5 pm. Its programme includes parties, femdom meetups, latex, pet-play and trans evenings, flea markets and fetish bar crawls, and it welcomes organisers who want to hold a party, reading, meetup or shoot there.
