Best sauna of its time! It's such a shame they haven't reopened this legendary and incredibly beautiful place! We're eagerly awaiting its reopening (if it ever happens, please bring back the gay nights) 🫶❤️🔥
I was so happy to hear about the reopening of our favorite historic Lyon sauna!
Unfortunately… it's only reopening for heterosexuals. No more gay Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. No more amazing, packed Tuesday nights for young people…
Fingers crossed that maybe in the future they'll have at least one evening a week reserved for the gay community.
In any case, it's an incredible place that must be preserved!
A beautiful place with unique decor, but clearly no longer as accessible to the gay community as it once was, which is quite disappointing. Its sister location in Paris has clearly grasped the concept better, offering mixed days, gay-only days, and straight-only days—in short, a wide range of choices. This contrasts sharply with Sun City in Lyon, which now only offers one mixed day and doesn't provide a proper discount for men under 26, unlike 70% of saunas in France. It's a real shame that this place has changed so drastically, undoubtedly due to overly heteronormative management.
Really Crazy sauna!
New Year's Eve was extremely disappointing. I went with my friend.
The price was double what it would be on a Saturday. I regularly go to clubs for New Year's Eve parties, and this was the worst buffet I've ever seen. All the drinks that came with the buffet were extra... the music was terrible... lots of single men. In short, everything was geared towards making as much money as possible, not having a festive evening. What a shame!
