Le Chateau d'Aphrodite is a private libertine club about ten kilometres from Sedan, in the dressed-stone vaults of a nineteenth-century chateau in the village of Haraucourt. It runs to a thousand square metres and opens every Friday and Saturday.

Its own inventory of the place is unusually full. There is a balneo area with two jacuzzis, a sauna, a hammam and showers; a restaurant in an eighteenth-century room with dressed-stone walls, a French beamed ceiling and libertine frescoes in the style of the 1920s; fifteen themed coins coquins, some open and some closed; a video salon; and a massage table. Separate spaces carry their own names - a Salon Africain, a Salon Egyptien and an Espace Prive - and there are changing rooms with lockers.

It is a membership club: a card is required, valid for a year, and membership starts at twenty-five years of age. The club publishes its membership terms and its evening contributions on its own Infos et Tarifs page, and they are not quoted here. Its own access page is worth reading before setting out - it asks you not to follow a satnav that routes you through the village of Bulson, and gives its own itineraries from Reims and from Chalons-en-Champagne instead.
