Sex-Shop Angelique is a family sex shop on Habsburgerstraße in Freiburg, now in its second generation, selling sex toys, magazines, DVDs, drugstore products, lingerie and a small range of S/M and bondage gear, in the shop only — there is no mail order. It also runs a porn cinema with daily-changing films; Thursday is gay day in the cinema. Entry is 18+. It is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 19:00 and on Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00.

It's small, yes, but the shop assistant is a lovely person. No prejudice or judgment, quite the opposite... I felt like I'd been there many times before, even though it was my first time.
Unfortunately, there were no toilets to try out and compare, but the owner was nice.
It was a complete disappointment.
We bought two DVDs. Back home, we discovered they were only playable in English, which was useless to us. The next morning, I wanted to return them immediately or exchange them for German ones. What I then experienced was, in my opinion, the worst kind of customer service: "There are no German DVDs, it says so right there." They asked if I couldn't read, slammed the change down on the counter, ruined her whole weekend, and then told me to leave. I will absolutely never set foot in that store again! I'm only giving one star for the inhumane refund process.
This shop is truly a shining gem: a fantastic selection, superb advice, and above all, unparalleled friendliness and warmth! The owner and staff are incredibly kind and go out of their way to find the perfect thing for each customer. We can wholeheartedly recommend both the shop and the cinema, where we were able to enjoy ourselves with some other male customers (just before closing time!) 💦💦💦. Dear Angelique team: keep up the great work, you are simply fantastic! We look forward to our next visit!!
