Black Ring Swing is a swinger-lifestyle community and party brand based in Catonsville, Maryland, running events across Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania and South Carolina, and occasionally further afield on its travelling dates. The name comes from the black ring worn on the right ring finger, a discreet signal between people in the lifestyle, which the founders adopted because it stands for what the group is for — helping members recognise and meet each other wherever they are.

The calendar mixes formats rather than repeating one night. Free meet and greets are the entry point, deliberately no-cost and no-pressure, and the brand runs them at ordinary venues such as vineyards and bars so that newer couples can ask questions before ever attending a party. Beyond those sit house parties, club events, pool parties and full hotel take-overs, plus ladies-only socials. The hosts describe every event as play-at-your-own-comfort-level, and make a point that joining the community is free and carries no application process.

Since the summer of 2026 the brand has also run Tabu Social Club in Catonsville, taking it over from the founders who built it, and a number of its club nights are now staged there — including a Black Ring Swing playroom inside the club. The brand was careful to say the community continues alongside the club rather than being folded into it.

Black Ring Swing is also a registered travel agent for lifestyle resorts and cruises, and recruits volunteers for its larger parties in exchange for free entry.
