Big Earl's Goldmine calls itself the original Des Moines gentlemen's club and the region's most iconic fully nude club. It has a private dance area and a VIP room, and its stage features a rotating line-up of local dancers alongside visiting feature entertainers, with occasional live music or comedy depending on the night.

The club is BYOB: guests may bring beer, wine and champagne, but no hard liquor is allowed. Major sports events, boxing and MMA are shown on high-definition screens, and there are regular themed nights. Amateur auditions run every night and are open to the public; Wednesday is T-shirt night, when wearing a Big Earl's T-shirt gets you in free, and Thursday is college night, two for one with a current student ID. The club is closed on Sundays.
