Fortuna Kino on the Favoritenstraße in Vienna's 10th district is an erotic cinema. The building dates from 1918 and was first officially run as a cinema in 1920. The cinema says that, with the Breitenseer Kino, it is the last suburban cinema in Vienna with its original fittings fully preserved; the foyer, buffet area and auditorium are unchanged. It closed for modernisation on 31 July 2013 and has been running again since October 2013. It shows two films a day and changes them every second day, with plot-driven erotic films on Wednesdays and Saturdays; the current programme is posted at the box office. On the third Saturday of each month there is an event evening, and regular opening ends at 19:00 that day. Open every day from 12:00 to 22:00, including Sundays and public holidays; closed on 31 December and 1 January.
