Torture Garden Metamorphosis Halloween 4 2026

Metamorphosis is the second weekend of Torture Garden's Halloween season — Halloween Balls 3 and 4 — and this one is on Saturday 7 November 2026, 21:00 to 06:00, last entry 02:30, at Electrowerkz.

The brief is transformation. Animal. Insect. Beast. Creature. Hybrid. Mutation. Alter ego. After more than thirty years of being a place to leave the everyday behind, Torture Garden is asking guests to shed their human skin and decide what comes next — something beautiful, something monstrous, or something that does not have a name yet. Take from the natural world, mythology, nightmares or your own imagination: horns, wings, scales, fur, feathers, claws, tentacles, latex, leather or armour.

Electrowerkz — a maze of a building at the best of times — is dressed as an immersive playground of installations, set design and strange new habitats. There are multiple stages and dancefloors, spaces to play, socialise or disappear into, a dark room and the Animal KingDomme dungeon. For this weekend the organiser has changed the layout, with new spaces to find as you go deeper into the building.

Arrival is in timed slots, and Torture Garden enforces them. The Early slot is arrival between 21:00 and 22:15 only — arrive after it and the door charges a late penalty. The Peak slot admits from 22:15 to 02:30, the Late slot from midnight to 02:30, and an Anytime ticket costs a little more and lets you come whenever you like before the doors shut. Slots cannot be changed after purchase, so buy the same one as the people you are coming with.

Photo ID is required for everyone regardless of age — a licence condition at the venue, not a Torture Garden rule. It must be a physical original: passport, driving licence, national ID or citizen card. A photo on your phone will not get you in.

The dress code is strict and non-negotiable: fetish clothing, checked at the door, no refund if you turn up without it. Torture Garden publishes a dress-code guide and a budget guide, posts theme-specific inspiration before each party, and will check an outfit by email in advance. Jeans, casual streetwear, cotton t-shirts and cheap fancy dress are all turned away.
