Port of Senses calls itself the BDSM club of southern Germany, created for passionate BDSM players. Its play areas cover more than 400 square metres over four floors: high halls, secret vaults, a prison wing, raw industrial architecture and sterile clinic rooms, with a confessional, a dungeon, a rack and a darkroom among them. Femdoms and maledoms alike are welcome, and every area is furnished to suit the SM theme.

The club runs play nights with snacks and drinks included, a lounge for breaks and a smoking area inside. Entry is between 8 and 9 pm and punctuality is expected; the nights run until 2 am. Each event has its own theme, dress code and no-gos, and guests who ignore the dress code can be asked to leave. Lockable lockers are provided, condoms and disinfectant are on hand, and play happens only with clear heads and mutual consent. Filming, photos and phones are banned throughout the club.
