We were here on Saturday evening (around 6-7 pm). Several rooms are available. We felt well taken care of and will definitely come back.

I registered for a cinema visit via Joyclub. I used a mobile phone with a Joyclub inbox, registered as an anonymous user, and showed the date of the visit. This wasn't enough. They wanted my profile shown. This has never happened before! I only received confirmation of receipt for each of my two emails, with a note saying I would get back to them later. Nothing more. After more than four weeks, I rated the "visit" on Joyclub. After that, Novum Andernach ignored me. A poor showing!

The shop is well-organized, bright, and logically laid out, and you can find all the usual products in (almost) every department. My wife and I also went to the cinema area, but it was more like a haunted house. Besides my wife, there was another woman physically (but not mentally) present. Otherwise, there were about 15 men, all over 50 (nothing against older men), who were clinging to us like flies. It even got to the point where we stood in front of the "couples' cinema" and rang the bell, and a group of about 3-4 older men had already gathered around us. However, if you split the price per person as a couple, it's cheaper than a ride on a ghost train with a genuinely scary experience.

We went to the cinema for the first time this afternoon, and it was very pleasant. We didn't interact much with the staff, but the few words we exchanged were very friendly. The cinema seemed clean and not at all dingy. There were, of course, a lot of men there, but what was very nice was the separate couples' area where we could retreat later. Hand sanitizer dispensers were everywhere, and there were wipes available for use. It was a lovely afternoon, and I hope it won't be our last visit.

I go there occasionally. The cinema area is clean, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is friendly. The only thing that bothers me is that many people just wander around in circles for hours, which is annoying, and about 85% of the people there are retirees. So, at 46, I feel more like I'm in a retirement home. I wish there were a younger crowd. There aren't enough couples, and when there are, they either disappear straight into the couples' section or do nothing. Like everywhere else. If more active couples came, I'd go more often. After all, you go there to be active. Hopefully, things will improve after the pandemic.
