Maspalomas Fetish Pride is one of Europe's biggest get-togethers for men into gear, held every October across the bars, clubs, pools and saunas of Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas on Gran Canaria. The event celebrates all fetish tribes by its own description — leather, rubber, puppy, uniform, skins and punks, sportswear and more — and has been running for well over a decade.

Unlike a single-venue festival, Fetish Pride is a programme layered over the resort itself. Its base is the Yumbo Centre — which the organisers call one of the most fetish-friendly locations in the world — where the socials, show bars and club nights run, with pool parties at Basement Studios and hotel pools, workshops, boat parties, sauna sessions and harder late-night events at venues across the resort. Community groups and clubs from across Europe host their own socials within the programme, and title elections — Mr Fetish Europe among them — anchor the big nights.

The format makes it as much a holiday as an event: days run from morning pool parties through afternoon workshops and excursions into club nights that end at sunrise, for over a week. Many programme items are free; ticketed parties are paid per event rather than through a single festival pass, with tickets sold through the organiser's site.
