El Jardín del Edén is een privéclub met een liberale inslag op de Polígono Garachico in het noorden van Alicante — vier kilometer van het stadscentrum en vier van San Juan — die sinds 2016 actief is en naar eigen zeggen de beste privé swinger club aan de Costa Blanca. Het is, naar de naam toe, een tuinclub: een outdoor jacuzzi draait van april tot oktober, en de barbecues van de club zijn een huisgebruik naast de bar.

De club is verkwikkend open over haar eigen agenda: ze garandeert serieuze drukte op zaterdagavonden en woensdagmiddagen, plus enkele vrijdagavonden — 'en el Jardín no se miente', zoals het huis het stelt — met thema-evenementen gepubliceerd op de eigen pagina. Alleenstaande mannen die deelnemen aan de woensdag- en zaterdagsessies wordt gevraagd vooraf per e-mail contact op te nemen, en toegang is nooit gegarandeerd: de deur beheert capaciteit en de balans tussen koppels en mannen opzettelijk.

Huisregels zijn streng: wederzijds respect, sexy kleding aanbevolen (broeken aanbevolen voor mannen op zaterdagavonden), geen drugs, en een totaal verbod op telefoons en camera's overal in de club en op het terras. Het verliezen van uw lockersleutel werd geadverteerd voor ongeveer € 10 toen deze pagina werd geschreven, en drankjes blijven in de tuin.

De club is geassocieerd met SDC en waarschuwt dat de enige informatie die zij erkent degene is die ze op hun eigen site en Google-profiel publiceert — goed advies dat we volgen. Toegangsbijdragen worden per evenement op de eigen kanalen van de club gepubliceerd. Blader door onze Alicante-listings voor de andere clubs in de omgeving.

Very friendly personal. Plenty of parking space. Remote, quiet location presents opportunity to disconnect and indulge into alternative fantasy reality, relaxing into a freedom of desire.

We (couple) arrived at 8 pm. At 10.15 pm the only other visitor (one guy) left. Immediately the person in charge told us the club would close. We paid € 40. For what? You ask your only 2 paying guests to leave hours before closing time because there is nobody else? Ok, we understand! But then you should offer your only guests a free or discounted ticket for another occasion. Asking your customers to leave is simply not done. This is not an error, it’s very poor management and will only lead to even less customers. In addition: staff should apologise, not because it's their fault there is nobody but because it's the right thing to do. 'Sorry, tonight was very disappointing, for you and for us of course too. We understand how you feel. We'd like to offer you .....' Not just come up and literally say the words 'We are closing soon' and walk off. Highly unprofessional in a service industry! 1 Day later: the management has replied to our review and answered: 'Thank you for your review' so they don't give a toss! Sorry 'El Jardin' we will definitely NOT recommend you!!!

We came as a couple and were shown so much respect. It was my first time.....and the lovely girl that showed us around really reduced any anxiety I had. Unfortunately, we had to leave after 3 hours ( 5pm on Wednesday), but at that stage the event was amazing. I cannot wait to return. Sean

Our first ever sample of a club experience. We met a couple who we had been introduced to from the FAB site in the UK who have used this club for years. It is ideally located just outside Alicante. A 30-minute journey from our apartment. We met our friends at 3.30 pm and made the entrance. We were greeted at the door by the owner and then moved into the bar area where we paid our 50.00€ per couple. We received 4 wristbands. These were for 2 drinks, each from the bar (4 in total) and 2 x barbecue meals (See website for prices and full amenities) and stretchy key band, attached was a key for a numbered locker (containing a towel each and a pair of fliflops) and a key giving you access to the couples only parts of the club. After paying, we were given a tour of the club by our friends. Certain areas of the club are in semi-darkness and will take your eye several seconds to adjust. There seems to be more facilities at the club than the website informs you of, which is a bonus and a great surprise. There were single men there, but they do keep their distance unless invited. Didn't really see any single ladies. The owner and staff are very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The other guest seems very friendly, even though there was a language barrier at times. We were all the for the same experience, so we soon got past that. (Sign language and a smiling face will get you everywhere). Anyway, the top and bottom of it all is that we will be attending again, hoping to see old friends and meet new ones in spectacular, friendly, and safe surroundings. D&C

My overall impression of the place is that it has a lot of promise. There are a lot of rooms with lots of different themes and from that perspective it’s good. However that’s where the good things end. Let’s start with the welcome. The lady that showed us around was a bit frosty and sarcastic which didn’t sit well with us, not a good start. The cost was high compared to other clubs and with less free drinks. The average age was probably over 60 years old, and life had been tough on all of them. Once we had got a drink we walked around to get a feel for the place and we were immediately stalked by 3-4 single guys. It was very ‘predatory’. We decided to try to make the most of the place by shutting ourselves in a lockable room to warm up a bit, but all the locks were broken off, and the single guys pushed open the closed door with lots of fake apologies. We stayed for another hour or two hoping things would look up, but in the end it was a massive disappointment and we left and went to another club. We won’t be going back.
