Erick at this location was super helpful and had great customer service. Everyone I meet at this location is awesome. With our current political climate and recession I hope they are getting paid fairly!

It genuinely pains me to write this review. I have been a loyal customer of Tokyo Valentino for over four years and have spent an estimated $5,000–$8,000 at the Sandy Springs location alone. My fiancée and I enjoy role play, performance, and themed attire, and for a long time this location stood out for its wide selection (lingerie, adult toys, novelty gifts, and accessories), knowledgeable staff, strong rewards program, and convenient hours. For years, it was our go-to. We loved the store enough that my fiancée eventually applied for and secured a position there. During her employment, she received multiple positive customer reviews and praise from her direct supervisor for her customer service. Unfortunately, due to serious family matters, she lost the job over attendance issues. While disappointing, we understood that business decisions are business decisions. That brings me to the reason for this review. On Sunday, January 4, 2026, at approximately 1:00 a.m. (about an hour before closing), we returned to the store after not visiting for some time, intending to make a purchase for the new year. The store looked great, and the employee at the counter recognized us immediately. We exchanged New Year’s greetings and began browsing. Roughly three minutes later, the same employee approached us and stated, “According to management, you are no longer allowed in the store.” We were stunned. It was a Saturday night, the store was completely empty, and we were the only customers present. When we calmly asked for clarification, the only response given was, “Because management said so.” I have over 35 years of experience in retail and hospitality management, and I have never witnessed paying customers being treated so abruptly, rudely, or without explanation—particularly when no policy violation was cited and no incident had occurred. I am choosing to share this experience publicly rather than escalate it further because I genuinely hope ownership will review how this location is being managed. Based on this experience alone, there appears to be a serious disconnect between customer service standards and management practices. I am intentionally not naming employees or managers here, though the details provided should make the situation clear internally. If ownership wishes to verify this account, I am more than willing to provide loyalty records and supporting information. If you are seeking adult-themed products in the Atlanta area, I would recommend considering alternatives such as Adam & Eve on Peachtree Industrial or one of the many Starship locations instead. This review is written honestly, reluctantly, and with the hope that meaningful changes are made. Until then, shop with caution.
