Wild at Heart

Wild at Heart is a women-owned sex shop in Seattle's Ballard neighbourhood, about six miles north-west of downtown, on the corner of 11th Avenue NW and NW Leary Way. It sells lingerie, adult movies, lotions and lubricants, BDSM gear and vibrators, and showcases products by local Pacific Northwest makers. The shop was opened in January 2006 by two former social workers. It is open every day from noon until 8pm.

Good varied selection amd nice inviting aesthetic.
Typically whenever I do into an adult store I always feel a slight level of awkwardness; not here! From the moment of walking in the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. That introduction into the store was great and foundational for the rest of the experience.
I found what I needed quickly as the shop is well organized and labeled. I had a few questions and was helped by Rayna. They made sure to answer all my questions and showed me some other great products I definitely will be back for.
Sage got me all taken care of at the register, and made conversation so easy. Overall, this was a great experience. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check out Wild at Heart!
I visited earlier today and I didn't quite catch the name of the person who was working the counter but they were very pleasant to talk with and I found my shopping experience to be very comfortable, the store has a decent collection of items as well.
I bought a few pins from here that they have on display and had a nice little conversation about the Hermes art piece that was by the register.
Would recommend shopping here to others and may be back when I find the need to.
Really fantastic place, this was the first time I’ve been here and I’m definitely going back. They have great quality items, latex free dental dams, and a great assortment of BDSM products. They were very knowledgeable and welcoming, and the lingerie racks are based on size not style so it’s very easy to find what will fit you immediately. It’s also fairly manual wheelchair and walker accessible, I’m not sure how well a motorized wheelchair would fit though. They also do not have fitting rooms, so if you’d like to try on a lingerie top, make sure to wear a tank top.
Plus size available here. We spent a few hours looking up adult shops from Olympia to Seattle hoping to find a plus size garter belt. When we finally settled on Wild At Heart I was blown away by the availability of outfits in plus size! I went in for one thing and left with everything I had ever wanted. The store was so comfortable I didn’t feel a rush to leave so my husband and I found a lot of new things to try and it was an extremely positive experience and I can’t wait for my next trip to Seattle to see what else peaks our interest at Wild At Heart.
