KinkyBeats has run fetish parties for more than seventeen years and calls itself a pioneer of the form, promising sensuality and extravagance alongside its established collaborations TheCraving and SubRosaDictum.

Most of its nights are at die kunstbar in central Cologne, opposite the Alter Wartesaal by the Hauptbahnhof, and the programme mixes flagship fetish nights with a long-running after-work format now touring to Frankfurt, a reading by a scene author, and seasonal bar evenings. Its music is deep, dark and electronic.

A short set of house rules recurs across its events: a no stays a no; photography is forbidden and calls or messages are to be taken outside; there is a guarded cloakroom; and men who book as a couple but arrive alone are refused entry.
