NM-REAL — New Mexico Respect, Ethics, Acceptance in Leather, Inc. — is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Albuquerque serving the leather, BDSM and alternative-lifestyle communities. Its stated purposes are educational, charitable and outreach work, and community leadership by example, across all genders and sexualities. It also keeps a New Mexico leather history archive.

Its main public work is KinkToberFest, an annual festival it describes as an immersive journey of discovery, connection and play: two ticketed Friday warm-up nights of classes, socialising and play parties, a free vendor and educator social, and a main weekend with more than sixteen classes across four periods alongside entertainment and play. Everything runs alcohol-free and drug-free, and there are places to volunteer, teach, vend and organise as well as to attend.

Around the festival it runs a smaller regular programme — a Social, Learn and Play evening, a low-sensory leather social, and a monthly membership meeting held online. Because it is a registered charity ticketing through a fee-free platform, the organisers state that all proceeds go to the organisation.
