Beautiful Things is a sex shop in central Brussels, on the Rue de l'Hôpital, run by a non-profit that works from the values of the sex-positive feminist movement. It sets out to be inclusive of every gender, orientation and body, and stocks a range chosen to be more ethical and more ecological.

The shelves include gender-affirming lingerie such as binders and tucking underwear that can be tried on in store, handmade wooden toys and humpers, organic and vegan condoms and lubricants, strap-ons and refurbished toys. The premises also host workshops, discussion circles, talks and events on sex-positive education.

Refurbished toys allow explore on a pay scale accessible to many and has a pre loved toy drop off! Owner is so chill and helpful. Beautiful shop !

Great queer place! Owner takes the time to explain all you need or want to know about anything relevant. The shop is super cosy and nicely decorated. You can really feel that all the items were carefully picked. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely shop and great vibe, it has a variety of carefully selected items. From gender neutral (!) toys, to garments, games... much more to explore, will definitely return✨️ the person in the shop was also really welcoming and helpful. Cheers to this in Brussels!

I had a wonderful experience visiting Beautiful Things. The shop itself is absolutely beautiful and very artistic. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, so you don’t feel uncomfortable at all just walking in and looking around. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. He even allowed me to charge my phone and kindly made me a cup of tea, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The products are also fantastic: very stylish, high-quality, and sustainable.

Beautiful things in a beautiful place! The shop has a great variety of products you normally cannot try on (like gender-affirming garments), and a friendly, colorful deco that it's far from the "boudoir", dark and sensual vibe of most love shops... A refreshing and needed alternative for us queers ❤️
