La Petite Maison is a rendez-vous hotel on the Hasseltweg in Genk, on the road between Genk and Hasselt, formerly known as Quichotte. Rooms can be rented for a few hours or for the night, it is open around the clock every day of the week, and there is a private car park.

It has seven themed rooms, among them Cleopatra, Moulin Rouge, Tempel, Ying-Yang and Picasso, and a suite with a jacuzzi and an open fire. Every room has its own bathroom with a bath and shower, air conditioning, a TV and wifi, and room service brings snacks and drinks, including champagne.

I've been there many times, the people are nice, the price is good, and I enjoy going there. Even at late hours, they help you out. I definitely recommend it. The room is always tidy. I have no downsides.

Given filthy sperm sheets to sleep on, woken up at 7:50 in the morning vacuuming and mopping non-stop. Absolutely not recommended for a second time. Never heard of a hotel where you have to clean the room yourself 😒 The TV was also completely broken, meaning you can just stare at the walls.

Received a very good and pleasant welcome despite the hour, and there was only one room left, the non-smoking one, so I conveniently left my pack of cigarettes at the entrance 😜

A short stay is good. I advise against a long stay. You cannot sleep. It is cold and the walls are as thin as paper. You can hear everything in the hallway, and every hour someone is cleaning in the hallway with water and a mop. We heard that every hour. Around 2 AM, someone was also walking up the stairs so loudly that the whole house shook. It is good for a short stay, but not for actually sleeping. Unfortunately. Also, the checkout time is 8 AM.
