IPG Halloween: Scare Me Stiff

IPG's Halloween hotel takeover in Scranton — its biggest weekend of the year — running from 6 PM on Friday 23 October 2026 to 11 AM on the Sunday, with party nights on the Friday and the Saturday. Early hotel check-in opens at 2 PM on the Friday.

The programme is scheduled hour by hour rather than left to drift. Friday opens with naughty trivia at 6:30, a meet and greet, a dance party until midnight and a DJ pool party in the heated indoor pool until 2 AM. Saturday runs a demo, poolside games, an electric demo of violet wand play, speed dating, a Halloween edition of Swingo and a pre-party, before the main event at 8:45 with the Most Creative Halloween Contest; after that the ballroom and lounge run at once, then potluck after-parties and themed rooms, and a final pool party and dessert wind-down from 2 to 4 AM.

The door is couples and single women only — single women must be escorted by an attending couple, and single men are not admitted under any circumstances. The organiser sets the age at 23 and over for this event, which is stricter than the 21 its own FAQ states elsewhere; anyone in between should check before buying. Guests are given event bracelets and anyone without one is escorted out.

Dress is a Halloween costume, or casual but neat, or dress to impress. Drink is bring-your-own everywhere except the lounge and ballroom between 8 PM and midnight on both nights. The host hotel is not named publicly — it is described only as lifestyle-friendly and just off Highway 81, with a supermarket, restaurants and a liquor store across the road — and its details reach ticket holders on their confirmation.
