Amsterdam's Red Light District, a genuinely unique experience! It's only about 5 minutes from Centraal Station. Just follow the crowd if you're unsure of the way, though a couple of the side streets getting there feel a little sketchy on Google Maps' shortest route. Once you reach the canals, it opens up and you get a real sense of just how organized and legal the whole area is, which was surprising to see in person. Best to visit at night, that's really when it comes alive. During the day it barely makes sense, no red lights, no real atmosphere, so timing your visit after dark is key. Important: no photos allowed once you're in the main streets, out of respect for the workers there, and that's a rule worth taking seriously. Beyond that, there are also plenty of quirky souvenir shops scattered around with pretty funny novelty items, worth a browse even if you don't buy anything. Overall it's a fascinating, one of a kind cultural experience and worth seeing at least once if you're curious about it. Just go with respect and an open mind.

I was really impressed by the Red Light Secrets Museum. It’s a small and relatively short museum, but it completely satisfied my curiosity. You can read or listen to stories about the lives of “the ladies” and gain a much better understanding of their lifestyle and daily reality. Even my husband, who isn’t usually into this kind of thing, found it genuinely interesting. The entrance fee is around €15, and as a nice touch, we received a little booklet as a souvenir. The gift shop also has some cute items to take home. All in all, I think it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and want to learn more about the history of Amsterdam’s Red Light District.

Its one of the best interactive museums in Amsterdam. I would def take a audio tour (I typically dislike em, but this one was entertaining and themed!!) Dont forget your QR Code with buying tickets to take pics. Its so fun. The museum is really detailed so keep your eyes open for little easter eggs. It feels very authentic and is just a fun distraction to get down from the main prostitution strip. Staff is super nice!!!

It's an interesting museum to attend if you have nothing else to do after 9pm and all the other museums are closed. You can walk through it very quick as it is a very small museum. Even with reading every single sign and info in each room it took me only 40mins. So I found it a bit overpriced for what it is really. But it was fun and definitely something you can't find in another city.
