Ok so overall, very interesting and we would maybe do it again. It was our first time at a place like this and everyone was very welcoming and it all felt surprisingly normal. As context, we payed ~850 for a night on a random weekend in August. Pros. Friendly staff (all women). Palm trees. Lots of lounge chairs. Hot tub and pool. Room had all the necessities and was clean. The guests were so lovely. Vibes were friendly. Music was great. There was a live dj. The experience definitely brought my partner and I closer and tbh, I’d probably recommend to any long term couple at least once in their life. Neutrals: Don’t expect to sleep soundly in your room because the walls are thin and the party is 24/7. You get earbuds and they work pretty well. Would recommend getting a room away from the pool if you want sleep (closer to the pool, if you want action). There are snacks, fruit, water, champagne, a Kirkland bottle of vodka and other assorted bottles of liquor in the kitchen. It’s byob. There were chicken wings made by staff during the day. There was a crock pot fried rice for breakfast the next day. You can eat dinner outside of the hotel or you can make a delivery order in with the group. Cons. Owner, Dewey, upon meeting gave us an (important) shpeal about consent and that no one would touch us without our consent. After which, he proceeded to touch me without my consent (certainly it could be interpreted as harmless bc all he did was tug on the arm of my shirt but nonetheless I don’t recall consent being asked for). In isolation, whatever. However he did it again (my lower back this time) once we were checking out. Both times while my partner wasn’t looking. Im not saying I felt unsafe, im just saying the owner of this place spent a lot of time talking about consent and then proceeded to touch me multiple times without it. Nice guy though otherwise. There was no clear system to let staff know when a play area had been used, therefore often we were unsure about the cleanliness of some of the spaces (for example the day beds by the pool). Other places will sometimes make people fold up their towels/sheets or have a flag that they place to signal cleaning is needed. That was not the case here. The pool/hot tub are filled with waters from mineral hot springs. This is a cool thing. The pool / hot tub however was also particularly cloudy. When I asked a guest about it , he laughed saying that this is the best he’s seen it and that sometimes he can’t even see the face of his watch. We didn’t spend too much time in the water though it did look fun! Lastly, discretion. There are cameras on the premises. Ask about them. The owner says they’re live cams to ensure the guests are kept safe. Some are by the pool. Two by the hot tubs. None in the playrooms that I could see. Also another guest had Meta glasses. One of his friends made us aware of this. He was not wearing them at the time and insisted they were not recording when they were on. But needless to ask/ say… my dude… why are you bringing meta glasses to a nudist lifestyle hotel. Anyway. It’s a novel experience. I think I’d do something like this again. Great intro. All the guests seem like experts and they repeatedly said this was their fave. Hopefully the establishment reads this and makes some adjustments but all in all, cool spot.

My boyfriend and I really wanted to love this place. We purchased a day pass (for a weekday so we knew going into it that it would potentially be less lively). While sea mountain has no control over the surrounding city area, we were both questioning where we were headed with many homeless people walking around and abandoned, decrepit buildings. We were greeted by the staff, friendly; but the facility itself was such a disappointment. It’s run down, unkempt, stains on blankets and the furniture, dusty, pieced together and didn’t feel sanitary. There was so much debris and hair floating around in the pool it was hard to relax and enjoy ourselves. The towels were old and tattered, furniture as well which for us did not feel like a space we could relax and have the experience we wanted at all. Can’t review much beyond the facility itself because it was basically empty; but that was enough for us to know we will never go back or recommend the space.

Would love to visit this place and support them if I can just convince someone to come with me
