lovely selection of gay lingere, AND there's a cat. I can never find any brick and mortar lingere stores where I live that sell more than one or two kinds of jock straps, let alone harnesses, singlets, or suspenders, and while there is a higher price tag on shopping for these kinds of things in-person, I really like being able to see/feel the item before buying it, so it's a premium I'm willing to pay. They've got a solid selection of NastyPig, Nordstrom, some Andrew Christian, and even some in-house handmade jockstraps of their own! I mention there's a cat? there IS a cat, and she is lovely. never in my life did i think I'd have the opportunity to pet a cat while lingere shopping, but life is beautiful in mysterious ways, and therefore I WILL be coming back next time I'm in the DC metro area :) tell Luna her customer service skills are impeccable, and she deserves a raise.

This place is an absolute joke. My husband, our friend, myself, and my seeing-eye dog went into Bite the Fruit, and from the second we walked in, we were treated like dirt. The two staff members acted like we were some kind of nuisance just for existing in their overpriced, pathetic excuse for a store. Their attitude was disgusting — cold, rude, and dripping with unprofessionalism. The prices? Outrageous. You’d think for how insanely expensive everything was, you’d at least be treated with a shred of respect. Think again. When my husband asked about a price at checkout, the miserable excuse for a cashier decided to start yelling instead of doing his actual job. Completely unhinged and unacceptable behavior. Bite the Fruit doesn’t deserve a single customer. They don’t deserve a single dollar. Avoid this dump unless you enjoy getting ripped off and disrespected at the same time. Total embarrassment of a business. Updating my review in response to their response: Your response only confirms the very issue I highlighted in my original review: a complete lack of accountability and respect. Rather than owning the poor treatment we experienced, you chose to frame it as a misunderstanding or a matter of “different recollections.” I know what happened. My husband, our friend, and I — along with my service dog — were treated dismissively and rudely from the moment we entered your store. An apology that questions the validity of a customer’s experience isn’t an apology at all. Bringing up your store cats or high rent doesn’t excuse unprofessional behavior. Customers don’t come into your store expecting to justify your pricing — they come expecting to be treated with basic decency, which we were not. Dismissing my feedback with a copy-and-paste response only further shows how little you care about genuine customer service. I stand by my review: no one should waste their time, energy, or money at this store.

Don’t waste your money in this store the two guy staff are very unprofessional and very bad guy while I’m paying the stuff that I bought to them they are yield me like I did wrong even i dint do anything. They are very bad and worst staff encountered!! They ruin our day with my husband! My husband had seeing eye dog and his dog is well trained and his dog is licensed service dog for blind person. They looked at us like they are very mad and they looked at us like we are not welcome there if we have service dog for a blind person. I feel so disappointed to the 2 boy staff and after that when I’m in the counter to pay they are shouting me. I really disappointed with them! They ruined our day and at the same time they discriminated my husband because he has a service dog! It’s not acceptable!! Please don’t go this store they are not welcoming and friendly store the staff are not well trained!
