The door guy was knowledgeable and extremely nice. When we got in and ordered our drinks, they used an automated liquor gun and it really looked like it was only 1 ounce of vodka in our vodka and soda drink. We literally could not taste the vodka. The bartender was extremely rude and in a terrible mood. Portland has a lot of strip clubs, and I’ve never felt so unwelcome before this experience.

I was at this place earlier today and I was surprised that no one checked my ID which is strange, not sure if it had anything to do with me being a patron. A beautiful lady named Viva was the dancer and she gave me a private one after she finished her set. Loneliness is never good and during the private one, she was flirty with me and I loved it!

Was on my way there and saw some employee screaming at young folks feeding the homeless which was very disappointing! Thought I was going to have a nice meal til I saw the lady acting hateful! I sure don’t won’t to pay for that kind of service! She must be heartless! The homeless looked happy and appreciative!

Mary’s has been a unique place in my Portland life since I was able to be brought in by a friend on my 21st birthday. Such a laidback authentic and entertaining experience then and over the past 34 years. My recent experience on Valentine’s Day was a great mix of an awesome show and interactive performers.Juliet has been a great addition to Mary’s and has great energy and brings her knowledge and passion to the stage and is a welcoming fire that is always a money draw and turns a sleepy afternoon into an experience. All the dancers are professional and make the place inviting and the music is always a blast. Thanks.

Friends and I were in Portland for a conference. Looking for a place to get a drink and caught in a sudden downpour, we ducked out of the rain into Mary's Club, not knowing what it was or what to expect. Only later did we learn that it's a Portland institution. Long story short, we loved it, mainly because of the good music and great girls on stage. They were sweet, charming, and witty with "real female bodies." That is, they were not grotesque silicone bubbles, but real humans with attractive qualities and great moves. One girl did a comical "boobie dance" that had us laughing and showering praise, and some of the pole dancing was insane! The straight men among our group were enraptured, and the gay guys and the one woman had fun, too! Be prepared to spend some money. The drinks aren't the best, but who goes to a strip club for the drinks?! I'm very glad the rain drove us into Mary's!
