October Afternoon Playdate

PlayBiTheRules' regular monthly play party, 3 pm to 6 pm on Saturday 10 October 2026 — the afternoon of its two sessions that day.

It runs in two connecting hotel suites by Detroit Metro Airport in Romulus, Michigan. The hotel is not published: ticket holders are emailed the location the evening before and the room numbers on the day. Doors open fifteen minutes before the start and close thirty minutes after it, so arriving late means calling ahead.

Admission was advertised at around $75 for a single man, $50 a couple, $25 for a trans guest and $10 for a single woman when this page was written, with first-time couples at half price and a further half-price offer for couples attending both of the day's sessions; those are indications and are confirmed at purchase. A ticket must be bought in advance — the organiser no longer takes payment at the door — and a free profile on its own site is needed to book.

The group is explicitly bi-friendly and open to singles, couples and trans guests. Attendance is small by design, generally twenty to thirty people.
