Decadence Ball is a Dallas lifestyle brand that runs a two-night New Year's hotel takeover in north Texas. It holds no premises: for each edition it takes over a full hotel, and the format depends on having the whole building — guests stay on site, so the party runs from the rooms to the ballrooms without anyone needing to travel home.

The production is built around multiple simultaneous stages rather than one dance floor. Its recent edition uses three: a 2,500 square foot ballroom given over to deep house and EDM under low light, a 12,000 square foot grand ballroom for headline DJs and eighties, nineties and two-thousands remixes, and a stage set in the hotel's eleven-storey atrium, entered through the main lobby and overlooked by guest rooms on every side, which doubles as the mixing-and-mingling space and hosts a daytime brunch.

Entry is for couples and single women, drawn from across the country, and the dress code is a real one rather than a suggestion — it is set separately for each night, published in detail in advance, and the organiser says it is enforced at the door. The programme runs day and night across the weekend and includes a New Year's Eve dinner alongside the headline DJs, laser and lighting production.
