KINK LEMONADE runs kinky parties and BDSM events in Hamburg, all of them at the Catonium. Its own three words for what it is trying to be are low-threshold, inclusive and safer.

The programme is a four-part seasonal series — Forest of Sin in autumn, Break the Ice in winter, Spring of Kink and Heatwave — where the season sets the dress code, the decoration, the music and even the drink, from punch and mulled wine to sorbet and a butterfly-pea iced tea the organiser calls Clitoria. Alongside them runs the Midweek Playground, a quieter midweek evening aimed at the BDSM community rather than at dancing, with room for play, conversation, bondage and aftercare.

The parties are built around an explicit consent framework. An awareness team wears glowing cat ears, is assigned to every area and is briefed not to get drawn into long conversations; glow sticks let guests signal whether they want to be approached; 'no' and 'red' are safewords everywhere; bar and outdoor areas are retreat spaces with no sex or BDSM; and a list of forbidden practices covers fire and wax play, scat and watersports, sharp blades and weapons. Newcomers are offered a tour, an introduction game and a dress-code pre-check by message before the night.

The organiser also states what it does about access: reductions for apprentices and a support fund for anyone who cannot afford entry, a quiet area with fidget toys for neurodivergent guests, and an admission that the venue is not fully step-free, with an offer to advise on what is possible. Tickets are not sold openly — you apply through a form and accepted applications are sent a ticket link.
