I tried to use a flat-rate couples coupon for a room, but the front desk staff said it could only be used in a room they designated. The coupon itself stated it was valid for all rooms, which was ridiculous. When I asked the front desk staff which room they designated, it was a room costing around 9000 yen per night, so using the coupon wouldn't have been very worthwhile. Even though it said it was valid for all rooms, Hotel Element seemed to imply that even if it wasn't explicitly stated, the coupons have their own rules. The person I spoke to was elderly, so I wondered if perhaps their training wasn't thorough enough. It's disappointing if the rules have truly changed, as the coupon was valid for all rooms until about six months ago.

I stayed at the hotel alone late at night on the middle day of a three-day weekend. There weren't many rooms available, so I reluctantly chose a rather expensive room. When I went to the front desk, they said, "If you're a woman traveling alone, we have a slightly cheaper room that will be ready in about 10 minutes. Would you like to move into that one?" I was very grateful for their thoughtfulness. The room was small but clean, and the amenities were plentiful, so I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. The only thing that bothered me was that the bathroom light flickered like a fluorescent light about to burn out, although I'm not sure if I was operating it correctly. However, the customer service was excellent, so I had a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Even a love hotel in the middle of nowhere, even at ¥4800 quality, seems far better. I don't want to pay ¥15,980 to stay in a dilapidated shack like this. I will never use this establishment again. I wasn't refreshed at all; I was just irritated.

I stayed in an S-class room (the best class). The bathtub and sauna were good. The karaoke system only had equipment up to 2010, and only the audio played and the microphone was usable, making it inconvenient to use. The refrigerator was small, about 10cm high, 45cm wide, and 10cm deep. The bed was queen-size. Overall, it was worth the price, but the room was disappointing as it didn't feel like an S-class room.
