While my husband was busy working, I decided to make a visit for the Tuesday afternoon party. It was the first time we didn’t go to a club together! The experience was unusual. The club is very small. There were very few people (two men, one very young guy and two ladies, including myself). After about two hrs of chatting and drinking with two men, who were in Brussels on business, came here for the first time and puzzled by the lack of people, I decided to explore the club with them and wasn’t disappointed. They weren’t either! Later two more men came in but they didn’t make the same impression as first two and I decided to call it a day. Good experience overall - hopefully it’s more crowded on weekends. Oh, yeah, the owners said they don’t speak English and didn’t want to tell is there were any people inside.

I've had the pleasure of visiting Val several times, and they've been wonderful experiences, both personally and physically ;-) The owner is lovely! Behind his glasses hides a kind and gentle man with a big heart who deserves to be better known! The owner is attentive to his clients and ensures their comfort, both personal (for example, by avoiding letting in people with bad intentions or by maintaining gender parity) and auditory (by not playing the music too loudly to protect our sensitive ears). He always makes sure that clients feel at ease, something that tends to be lost these days. The place is clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is intimate. The club is smaller than some others, certainly, but it's this cozy feel that gives it its charm. It allows clients to chat and create real connections... and perhaps even physical ones later on ;-) The best thing to do is go and see for yourself. Give it a try, go for it, and you'll see that this place and the owner who runs it are really great. K.

Disappointed to get rejected for only knowing how to speak English by the long tied beard staff

First time I visiting the Val was over 10 years ago, most recent visit just last month. Always a warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Club has a great location and is just the right size.
