Klub Verboten London October 2026

Klub Verboten returns to a warehouse in Hackney Wick on Friday 9 October 2026, doors 22:30, last entry 02:00. The organiser's note is short and says something: it's been a while. The venue has changed, so have we. We can't wait to experience the space again with fresh eyes and a new approach.

The venue is not published. Klub Verboten lists this date as a secret location and releases the address to ticket holders. For this date the organiser does name the district — a warehouse in Hackney Wick — but not the street. We have not guessed at it or placed a map pin on the city centre.

Klub Verboten launched in 2016 and describes itself as a provider of contemporary pro-pervert spaces — a grassroots movement that grew into tens of thousands of members and is supported by Arts Council England. It runs in London, Berlin and on tour, and is queer-led.

Klub Verboten enforces a kink dress code at the door and does not refund people it turns away. If you are new to the space the organiser's advice is to stick to latex, rubber, PVC, leather or lace — and it is explicit that the outfit does not need to be expensive, only authentic. Fancy dress, fantasy, cosplay, baroque, steampunk, military, head-to-toe cotton, suits, cotton underwear and jeans are all listed as rejected. Their rule of thumb: if you could wear it in a cocktail bar, you can't wear it at a kink club.
