BlackZoo Halloween Ball

Black Zoo's Halloween ball, Saturday 31 October 2026 at the Pi Kollektiv in Langenhagen, just north of Hannover — the organiser bills it as the city's ultimate Halloween party for admirers of bizarre eroticism and vampire theatre.

The room is dressed for it: an elaborately darkened ballroom where glossy black counts, morbid sisters, the half- and undead, gothic witches and the Zoo's own company make one mass of dance, power and play. Baroque mirrors reflect only what they are allowed to, and the play areas do the whispering.

Music is post punk, elektro, EBM, dark wave and classics, from Kai Hawaii, Blixarin de Libertad and Dark Desire. Expect opulent costume, theatrical performance and heavy visuals.

Dress is Halloween, staged — patent leather, leather, latex, uniform, gay, burlesque, fantasy, plastic, rubber, school uniform, metal, cross-dress, and fetish read through burlesque, glamour, goth or steampunk. Any interpretation of creepy Halloween will do.
