Best Hand Night

Saturday 12 December 2026 at The House, a private house in downtown Raleigh, from 7 pm until 2 am.

Every couple that attends the party will draw 4 playing cards from a deck of cards. With those cards you can keep them, trade them, bargain for more cards to make your best 5 card poker hand. The couple with the best 5 card poker hand at 1am will win a gift certificate to a restaurant. There will be 1st and 2nd places. If there is a tie they will draw for highest card out of a deck.

The club lists this night as open to male-female couples and single women.

The House is reservation-request only and not open to the public: everyone must be approved and sign an agreement form to be admitted. It supplies soft drinks, food and snacks, and stocks its on-premise rooms with condoms, lube and wipes; drinks are bring-your-own. The club says there is no charge for its parties and that it accepts donations.
