L'Eclipse is a love spa on Boulevard de Sébastopol in the 3rd arrondissement, and one of the strictest doors in Paris in the best sense: the club is reserved exclusively for couples and single women — single men are not admitted, full stop. That policy shapes everything about the atmosphere inside.

The format is spa-meets-club: entry includes paréos, towels and condoms, unlimited soft drinks and a cocktail of the day, and from 21:00 every evening a complimentary buffet is served. Entry was advertised at around €78 per couple and €20 for single women when this page was written — confirmed on arrival, with a small €2 cloakroom deposit. Wednesdays carry an 'Afterwork Coquin' early-evening format.

Opening hours are long by Paris standards: open seven days a week from 12:00 (16:00 on Sundays) until 02:00, stretching to 06:00 on Friday and Saturday nights — one of the few libertine addresses in the city where an afternoon visit is as normal as a night one.
