As a couple and former regulars at this club, we were saddened to learn of its closure. Located on the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire road, the Liberty Station had an ideal location, away from city centers, with private parking, an outdoor pool... we will return. Having frequented this club for several years, we went regularly and were increasingly disappointed each time, which is why we decided not to return. As mentioned previously, this club has an outdoor pool for the summer, but as the seasons progressed, the maintenance became neglected; the water became cloudy, and there was even green algae on the ladder. Regarding the club, the clientele has changed considerably. The true libertines have left, replaced by a clientele that is often not libertine, especially among the men. Many exhibit a boorish demeanor and present themselves, with deplorable attire and a disregard for the dress code. It seems that anything goes in a club, but this comes at the expense of genuine libertines who, often loyal to this club, demand a more selective entry. The spa area itself is quite nice with two pools, but the smaller one was frequently out of order. The sauna is very small, but the hammam is quite large. As for the labyrinth, it's cold in winter. The cozy corners upstairs are well laid out but few in number. We had some very enjoyable evenings on the dance floor with a good DJ, but unfortunately, that's not enough. We won't even mention the security guard's less-than-pleasant attitude at the entrance, which is a shame. Today, clubs are for sale or closing down. As mentioned above, swingers are starting to abandon these places, surely due to the selective entry process (the famous jeans and sneakers look has become the priority). Management lets in just about anyone; quantity is prioritized over quality. Unfortunately, competition from private parties must be having an impact. It's a shame for a club with so much potential.

Our opinion is very mixed, and it pains us to write this. At first, it was magical. This club captivated us like no other in the Nantes area. The atmosphere? Fantastic. The clientele? Truly libertine: spirit first. And Isa, the manager? A gem who truly embodied the values ​​of kindness we champion. The little restaurant for getting to know each other, the unforgettable evenings... we found our tribe there. When we learned of the closure, we wanted to come back one last time to say goodbye. Except we were confronted with something that completely ruined our opinion: appalling hygiene. The changing rooms? A strong, musty/damp smell, truly unpleasant. In the spa area, it was even worse: the smell was even stronger, to the point of catching in our throats (and in my lungs, as I have asthma). We had to leave after 20 minutes. (Yes, €1 a minute for nothing, we wish we'd laughed at that joke 😅). Reading other reviews, we quickly realized we weren't the only ones with this feedback. Also worth noting: the shower was hot, but there was no soap available when we were there. And that's when we realized that this humidity and hygiene problem is much more serious than a closure: it's abandonment, probably due to lack of resources. But for a swingers club, that's unacceptable. To Isa: thank you for all those evenings where the swinger spirit was truly present in your establishment, to all your staff and the bouncers. Hello, my husband and I have been going to the club for 20 years. It's been a great form of therapy for me thanks to the kindness of the owners, the friendly and initially family-like atmosphere, and the staff who are very attentive to the customers. It's a shame the DJ plays the music too loud. We love this club; it's a shame it's closing. We're very sad. We're thinking fondly of Jean-Louis, who kept the dance floor going. I've been going to this club for 3-4 years, but for now, I won't be going back! The clientele is dwindling... what a shame! Strange smells in the changing rooms, the spa area, showers, etc... yuck. A serious lack of hygiene; it's really off-putting! Seriously... Plus, there are fewer and fewer people. Yesterday, a Saturday night, an 80s night?? Yeah... a few hanging lights and that's it... it's pretty basic! By 2 a.m., the club was practically empty! Ugh, awful, they really need to rethink things!! The cuddle corners are starting to look outdated and uninviting. The maze is unheated, and half of it doesn't even have minimal lighting... my wife even got hit in the face by a sharp corner! Hello, it is with sadness that I share our review. We have been going to the Liberty for many years, and it's true that the club has been deteriorating for several years now, particularly in terms of hygiene and especially the exit from the spa area, which is very slippery. We understand that there are men in clubs, but (on Sundays) there are a few too many, and yes, some of these men are disrespectful (not all of them). It's a real shame because we really enjoy this place!
