Seems like we had a trainee and the cafe is suffering from end of busy season blues. Many things in the restaurant were "broken" like machines to make granitas, specialty mixed drinks, and even change from paying cash...and waiter was clueless. Location and seating good. Paying top dollar for 3rd choices. When order taken no comment about machinery not working...waiter returns with a partial filled order and re-order more unfixable food... with waiter not warning unless and again half filled. Ughhhh.

We stopped in for respite from the heat seeking cold drinks and some nourishment. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and beautiful atmosphere inside Le Paradis du Fruit. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the decorations of flowers and fruits created an excellent ambiance. The menu was larger than expected so we opted to share the combination for 2 which allowed us to choose 8 different small plates. We really enjoyed each of the dishes, although none of them were specifically incredible.

Perfect family-friendly spot with delicious food! We had a wonderful experience here! The staff is incredibly friendly, nice, and helpful they took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the menu and services. The ambiance is very cozy and welcoming, with a fantastic variety of options to choose from. As for the food, everything was literally delicious. They offer really nice, refreshing meals, ranging from great drinks to breakfast and lunch options. We visited with our two kids (a toddler and a 5-month-old), and it was incredibly accommodating. They have a dedicated kids' menu and are even happy to customize your meal if you need it. It’s the perfect place to visit for a nice change of scenery, and we definitely recommend it! The only minor downside is that if you are coming via car they do not have a parking, which can be an issue, since the restaurant doesn't have its own dedicated parking area. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect!

The food was so tasty! The service was good paced and our server, Josse, was so sweet! Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely go back!

UPDATE: I found the management's response to my review below very encouraging, but I emailed within hours of their request and am disappointed that I've still not heard back. ----------------- The salad I was served during my most recent visit to Le Paradis du Fruit turned me off completely and I'm unlikely to ever return. My "Paradis Bonheur" salad was composed mostly of very hard, veiny pieces of lettuce, and served without pineapples, fried onions, and mint as described on the menu. When I questioned whether this was the correct salad, the server brought me a small cup of diced pineapple. The accompanying bread also tasted stale. I couldn't even finish it. After having had very positive experiences at this restaurant on at least two occasions last summer, I developed a liking for their salads which had, on my previous visits, been well-composed, delicious, and reasonably-priced by Nice standards. The differences are obvious in the pictures I took last summer vs. the one from just yesterday.
