Velvet Society is a private adult lifestyle club for Metro Atlanta, open to guests aged 21 and over. It holds intimate gatherings in private venues it chooses for each event, along with travel events such as resort takeovers, and calls itself a circle built on allure, connection and trust rather than a party list.

Membership is offered, with tiers and a screening process, but the organiser says membership is not required to attend; members get priority. Consent is required before any physical contact, play permissions are set per event and venue, couples arrive and leave together, and no cameras or phones are allowed at events. The club has a zero-tolerance policy on illegal drugs and prostitution.
