We had such a wonderful experience at Happy Day Spa! My partner and I came in for a couples massage ($120 for both), and it was exactly what we needed. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming, and both of our massages were absolutely amazing. Our therapists were attentive, professional, and did a great job tailoring the pressure to what we each needed. We left feeling incredibly relaxed and refreshed. It was such a nice experience to be able to unwind and enjoy a massage together. We’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Happy Day Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing, quality massage! One helpful tip: they do prefer cash for tips, so it’s a good idea to bring cash with you. 😊 The front desk coordinator (female) was very very nice.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Happy Day Spa on Truxel Rd today! I booked a one hour massage and was lucky enough to get Michelle. She is clearly very experienced and brings a wonderful, intuitive touch to her work. From head to toe, the entire session was incredibly relaxing and exactly what I needed. If you visit, I highly recommend asking for Michelle she is fantastic! I will definitely be back.

Very rude and unprofessional experience. We were asked about tipping upfront and then I felt pressured and judged about the amount I left at the end. Tipping is optional and should be based on the service, and this was extremely uncomfortable. They also started our appointment 20 minutes late, and the massage lasted only 55 minutes even though I paid for 60. The environment made it impossible to relax. One masseuse had a vibrating phone and coins in his pocket, doors were slamming, the front door was open so we could hear street noise, and the rolling chair was loud on the wood floors. Our masseuses were talking to each other during the massage, and mine even left the room to look for hot towels mid-session. Overall, very poor customer service. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place.

It hurts me to write this review, especially being a resident in Natomas. I have been going to this place since I was a kid. I got a massage a few weeks ago, the massage was good, but at the end of it when I tried to pay with my company card (as it was a gift from my company) the lady at the front kept loudly announcing that she prefers cash. The masseuse also wanted me to give her a cash tip immediately. This announcement from the front lady was made at least 3 separate times in front of 6 guests of there's waiting. Since it was my company card and it was a gift massage to me, I did not want to pay with my own cash. She eventually took my credit card, but honestly I was super embarrassed to even be in the place as there was 6 other people around me listening to this conversation happening. I was repeatedly being told that they would prefer cash, and to next time bring cash. I did not budge on wanting to pay and tip with my card. After 3 times of her stating that they prefer cash in front of many people, she then took my card, she looked upset and wanted to see my ID as well. I understand policy but this was never said to me, and I felt like I was being treated like a criminal after being publicly berated. I gave her my ID, and she charged my card, but I will say I was genuinely stressed that she thought I was stealing, etc. It's not that I do not have the funds, I run two hotels nearby, it's the repeated loud statements made to me that they prefer cash that really disappointed me. I understand that companies have to pay credit card processing fees, as my company does as well. But there is a way to go about discussing payment with customers, as opposed to embarrassing them. If she told me prior to my walk-in appointment (I waited 30 minutes), that they only will take cash, I would have been prepared. I paid my bill, left a 25% tip on the card as well, but left feeling like I was not welcome. I do not feel comfortable going back, and will ensure that myself, my staff team, and any recommendations to guests go to a different place that genuinely makes them feel comfortable. It breaks my heart to leave a review like this for a place I have gone to for the past 15 years.

Well I got a good and bad review. My sister and i decided to go for a couples message to this Happy Days. I got the deep tissue message with stones and ginger oil. Great message, the gentleman I got did a good with the deep tissue part. I am still sore but feel good. Unfortunately the bad experience was being pressured into giving a larger amount of a tip. I gave him $8, from what I know tips are optional. He did not like the tip I gave him. Started complaining to the masseuse my sister got opening the book showing her how much I gave him and got loud about it showing with his body language that he is not happy with the tip I gave him. I paid $70 for my hour message. What sucks is I couldn't even talk to him or her because they both do not speak English. I don't think I will go to this place again made me feel uncomfortable and pressured. It's to bad because it's close to my house.
