Chicago Eagle est un leather bar sur North Broadway à Uptown, et selon ses propres termes, le bar d'attache de la scène leather de Chicago. Il a ouvert au printemps 2026, reprenant un nom porté par des bars Eagle dans le monde entier depuis l'original à New York.

Sa propre description est brève : plusieurs bars, un système de sonorisation dernier cri et plusieurs espaces à explorer, avec tout le monde bienvenu. Le programme est là où le caractère se montre - une happy hour équipement organisée avec les Leather Archives, des soirées jockstrap, des prises en charge DJ - et il reste ouvert tard, jusqu'à quatre heures du matin la plupart des nuits et cinq heures le samedi.

Le bar accepte les demandes de réservation de DJ et d'événements via des formulaires sur son propre site, et affiche son calendrier sur celui-ci et sur ses réseaux sociaux. Consultez son calendrier avant de vous déplacer : le programme change chaque semaine.

What a great addition to the Chicago gay bar scene (and the neighborhood)! The new space at the Eagle makes really smart use of the building — plenty of room, easy-to-access bars, and multiple areas that each have their own vibe depending on what you’re looking for. Upstairs especially stands out, with the cool windows you see from the facade bringing in a great atmosphere, plus the neon light nodding to the previous “Baton Lounge”. Music has mostly been solid, but overall the energy and vibe feels fresh and different in the best way. Only real downside right now is the drink pricing — definitely too expensive for Chicago. If they can dial that in a bit, this place is going to be a staple.

Spoke too soon! They have a ghost!!! Great use of the space. Friendly staff. Good music. Good lighting. IMO just a few things to work on: obvious security cameras in spaces that should feel private make the vibe uncomfortable, security goes hand in hand with privacy and good security should prevent the need to intrude on privacy. Which leads to my second point, the lack of ANY entry personal upon opening (checking IDs, bags, etc.) makes the space feel less secure and leads to poor crowd control. Next, crowd control seems like an afterthought, which makes me question safety. The rush of people at a few points of the night made the space feel unsafe. The line for coat check was not pre-planned. The bar lines overflowed into the stairwell and dance floor, and the route to the bathroom is heavily crowded. The lack of seating separate from the smoking area is disappointing.

Was a great time! It was POPPIN’ for IMLBB weekend! The one dj who was playing Sunday night was very great! Backroom play area is pretty good of a start. Do hope it grows a bit, tho (but not saying this as a criticism; rather, a suggestion) Can’t wait to be back and hoping the best for its future!
