Herrchens-Erotikwelt is an erotic shop with a cinema area on Berliner Freiheit in central Bonn, between the Kennedybrücke and Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz, from a business with more than 40 years in the trade. The shop has about 100 m² of lingerie, corsets, fashion and party wear, lacquer, leather and latex, sex toys, BDSM and fetish items, aids and DVDs, and a video cabin at the back with films changed weekly. In the basement a small cinema area has themed rooms — among them a room with a gynaecological chair, a gay room with sofas, a room with a sling, a darkroom with glory holes, a play room, a couples' room that can be locked from inside and a small lockable room with a bed — with a shower and toilet, and a lounge and changing area with lockers upstairs. Condoms are compulsory, "no" always means no, and the house states that it does not tolerate prostitution on its premises. There is a second entrance at Gymnicher Hof, behind the building. It opens Monday to Thursday from 10am to 8pm, Friday to 10pm and Saturday to 4pm, and is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
