Wasteland's Halloween Ball falls on Halloween itself in 2026 — Saturday 31 October — and runs from 21:00 to 05:00 at Radion in Amsterdam. Of Wasteland's editions this is the one where the theme and the calendar pull in the same direction: an event built on transformation, on the one night of the year when everyone else is attempting the same thing.

Radion is one of Wasteland's favourite rooms and a large part of why this edition feels different from the Zaandam hall. Better known now as the ACTA breeding ground, it is a cultural free port that works at the experimental edge of Amsterdam's arts scene, spread across five distinct areas over several floors — a building with its own character rather than a blank space to be dressed.

The rules are Wasteland's usual, which is to say stricter than most: creativity and fantasy in the outfit, not merely black rubber, and a dress code checked at the door by the Doorbitches whose decision is final. There are no refunds for anyone turned away, so read the dress-code page before you book. Inside, the format is the one three decades of editions have refined — shows, DJs across the floors, visuals by Run Paint Run, play and lounge areas, and the mixed straight and LGBTQ+ crowd Wasteland has always drawn.

Halloween weekend is the busiest of the Amsterdam fetish year, and this edition sits four weeks before the November Wasteland Amsterdam at North Sea Venue — for visitors, the two are worth reading together.
